How do I display an upbeat/intro bar in the score?

If there's a better term for this, I'd also like to know but, suppose my tune starts on the upbeat, how can I get the score editor not to display the preceding rests?

Figured it out...

First, create bar 1 with its preceding rests. Then split all regions at the point where the first note begins, and delete the empty regions . The Score will then only display where the regions begin (i.e. at the first note).

To refine further, you can then drag the Start Point to the beginning of the first note, which means when you press Play, it will begin straight away on that up beat.
