Software updates for 5th generation Ipod Touch

My Ipod Touch shows software is up to date with version 9.3.5, but I want to download Deezer from the App Store which wants a minimum of 10.0 how can I get this when everything shows as being up to date. Any help would be appreciated. I have a 5th generation 64GB Ipod Touch.

Try my using my older version of iTunes procedure in my link below to try and get older versions of apps for that iPod Touch.

Basically, you load the most recent version of an app into iTunes on a computer.

Then you go back into your iDevice, launch the iOS App Store app, tap Purchases.

Look for the app you just downloaded into iTunes, tap the download “cloud” icon and see if the iOS App Store offers up an older version of an app that is compatible with your iDevice and iOS version.

Apps may or may not have older iOS 9.3.5 versions still available from the iOS App Store.
