Macbook Pro 2012 Very Strange Screen Issues
TLDR: Macbooks screen works on windows but not on Mac OS after a high drop. Screen is physically undamaged. (Below is the full version)
Ok so, recently I installed windows on my MBP 2012 and everything was fine and good. Then I stupidly put my mac in the top of my girlfriends wardrobe (about 6ft up) and when she opened it, it flew out and landed on the floor. When this happened it was off but last booted to windows. The screen isn’t physically damaged, but a few hundred or so pixels just sort of light up and go off, sort of sparkling it looks like. Other than this it is completely fine and useable and barely noticable most the time. The issues comes when I try and boot the mac back to OSX. The screen is just black. I know its working and is back to mac OS because I’ve plugged a HDMI into it and can clearly see it still works. I am really stuck because I only really use windows on my mac for FL Studio and much more prefer to browse the web and whatnot on my Mac’s Native OS. Sorry for the long and boring read but its a bit of a long one. Any ideas anyone?
