Safari Getting Worse and Worse Displaying Web pages.

I've always tried to make Safari my go to browser on my Macs. I also like what Apple has been doing with the security on Safari. However, I'm finding more and more that Safari is unable to display certain random web pages. Initially I thought it was my work firewall that was giving the issue, but I can open up FireFox on this same Mac and access the web pages without issue. And I have the same thing happen at home, so it's not something specific to my user profile on any one Mac or the OS install.

For example, I'm a Myst fan and was trying to go to the Cyan support site: support.cyan.com. I enter that on Safari and after a while it times out with an error: It can't open this web site because the server where this URL is located isn't responding.

But if I open that same web site on FF on that same Mac, it goes right there.

And this isn't only page this happens with. Most web sites open without issue, but enough of them don't open that I'm tempted to make FF my default browser instead. I'm running the latest MacOS release on all my Macs.

Anyone else experience this?

See if it works better in the Safe Mode.

Safe Mode - About

If it works in the Safe Mode, try running this program when booted normally and then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor.  Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read. Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy to Clipboard” and then paste into a reply. This will show what is running on your computer. No personal information is shown. If the log won’t post, try posting it in Pastebin and provide a link in a reply        Pastebin

Etrecheck – System Information

It won't let me post it since it's over 5000 characters. And just to reiterate that same issue, although I can't say that it happens with the cyan page, happens at home on totally different system with different apps running. Although there is some overlap. FYI, I have a Mac Mini here at work that's not going thru our network and Safari will not take me to the support.cyan.com site. This is test system for me and has almost nothing install except for default Apple Apps.

You used a very old version of EtreCheck, v2. something that may be missing something pertinent to the problem. The current version is 5.2 and is much more useful to us. Please find it in the Mac App store:

The free version will work fine. You can use the "additional text" button in the text entry screen's toolbar to directly post the report:
