I have deleted my Apple ID and created a new one. When I go to update my apps it keeps asking me for a verification but of my old Apple ID. How can I fix this?

If you had Apple delete the ID, those purchases are tied to that ID and can't be transferred. One option is to delete the apps/purchases made by the other ID and download them using the new ID if desired. If necessary, check your purchases history to see which apps/purchases weren’t made by the current ID.

Reading through the article it states you are requesting removal of an Apple ID, but you cannot actually remove it. You are giving Apple permission to delete an Apple ID. However, only Apple can actually remove it. How that gives me greater power over my data someone needs to explain to me.
At some point in the past you could always request that Apple remove an Apple ID, which they would do if the felt there was sufficient reason. Now, you can accomplish the same thing directly. I'm feeling so much more control over my private parts. :)
Actually you can delete your own Apple ID now...

You cannot delete an Apple ID. You can only stop using it. Only Apple can actually delete it.
i have deleted an apple ID and its been more then a week and is still active can i get help with this please
