Want to purchase mac mini for development

Hello everyone,

I want to purchase mac mini . I searched a lot to confirm my specifications, However i don't get any satisfactory quotations for it. My expectation for purchasing mac mini is:

Minimum 8 GB RAM, in future it can be upgradable upto 16 GB or more.
500 GB or more PCIe-based SSD storage + I can use External HDD stoarge if inbuilt storage less.
3.0 GHz 6-core Intel Core i5 Processor
Price specific not more than USD 799.
Only purpose for software development but less chance for gaming and gaming development.

Please suggest what will be the best to purchase mac mini at reasonable prices.

You can only get a new base model Mac Mini for $799.

For the spec's your wanting, a new Mac Mini will cost you at least $1299

As you say, an external drive is doable so you could conceivably drop to 256GB and add a USB 3 or USB C SSD drive for data. I lived and worked from a 256GB drive for quite a few years - I felt pinched only because it was portable and I didn't want to carry an external drive. But the 6 core I5 is a must, the difference between it and the stock i3 is significant. So you are looking at $1099 and getting everything you want but the 500GB drive.
