Apple Watch 4 Phantom Vibrations

Just noticed today, May 9, 2019 - small vibrations coming from the watch. I thought I was getting a message. Watch is updated as is my IPhone.

Also noticed that my watch face had changed around the same time.

Found that if I turn Haptics off, it seems to go away. Of course that isn't a viable cure. But I have done that.

About 10 days ago every time I touched the face it would speak the time etc. I did a reset and that took care that problem. I will do the same maybe tonight.

I purchased the watch for its AFib capabilities, so that doesn't seem to be affected.

I think another forced reset is indicated. At least it will give a clue whether this is a software problem, or if the problem doesn’t go away after reset you could be looking at a hardware problem.

Your watch is still within the 12 month warranty period so if you can't get it working without faults, use Get Support (link) and start the process to get it examined by Apple Service.
