Downloaded tv series

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. I understand from your post that you purchased a TV Series from the iTunes Store but you're unable to download the last 4 episodes and it says series only. I'd like to help.

"Choose how you want to buy TV episodes

There are four ways to get TV shows through the iTunes Store:

Single episode

Purchase available TV episodes individually. You can download or stream the episode immediately after you complete your purchase.

Season

Purchase all available episodes from a completed season. You can download or stream all available episodes immediately after you complete your purchase. If you've purchased one or more episodes from a Season, you can complete your season at any time.

Season Pass

Purchase all current and future episodes of a season and download them to your library or play them immediately.2 When a new episode becomes available, you'll get an email letting you know that you can download it. If you have an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, you'll also receive a push notification. If you've purchased one or more episodes from a Season, you can complete your Season Pass at any time.

Multi-Pass

Purchase a set number of episodes of a show that doesn't air in traditional seasons.2 The latest episode downloads immediately after you complete your purchase, and the rest of your allotted purchased episodes download as soon as they become available.

If you purchase a completed season, you'll generally pay less than if you buy each episode individually. If you purchase a Season Pass, you'll always receive a discount off the total of eligible episodes.
