Your device is disabled screen

Hey guys,

i dropped my iPhone 6s a few days ago and the screen got completely damaged. Today I managed to replace the screen and I got the disable screen. I know the passcode of the iPhone I just do not manage to get prompted for it. I found https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204306 but following this I will loose my data which I’m really not interested. The process talks all about if you forgot the passcode but in my case I know it. Any help?

cheers

That article in the link you provided tells you the only way to recover a disabled device. There is no choice or alternative methods - you have to restore it in iTunes which inherently erases it.

Do you not have a recent iCloud or iTunes backup to restore from once it’s no longer disabled? Things you sync in iCloud (contacts, notes, etc) should just sync back when you sign into iCloud again.
