Over the past few days, I’ve started hearing a bubble sound coming from my phone, while it’s just sat not being used. No apps being open, and it doesn’t stop when I mute my phone either. Any ideas?

It’s like a water bubble sound effect. My phone will just be sat on the table doing nothing, and on its own accord it will start making the sound. It will do it repeatedly several times, but nothing happens before or after it. Nothing comes up on the screen and none of my Apps are open, so I don’t think it’s an App causing it. I’ve tried putting my phone onto silent but it doesn’t stop the bubble sound. I’ve got an iPhone 6S which I’ve had for quite a few years and this has only been happening for the past few days.
Is it possible to elaborate more on this please.
