bricked iphone SE - dont have the proof of purchase

I have an iphone which the Genius bar cannot revive. It was bought from a refurbisher where I have bought all my other phones with no problems and years of use. It was purchased in Sept 2018. The Tecchie who was great tells me that he has never seen this before and it seems to be a logic board problem. I have an IMIE and a serial no. Problem is the date of manufacture with Apple says 1978. But Apple MUST have a record of manufacturing date somewhere in their records to show when it was made -ie the date from which the i year warranty will start. How do I get that?

The problem for Apple is they have no idea what the refurbisher did during their refurbishment process. Apple does not sell new OEM parts to non-Apple Authorized service providers so a third party refurbisher cannot get them.

The refurbished devices Apple itself sells online from their web site are refurbished by the same OEM manufacturer who makes the iPhone’s for Apple, in those same factories, by the same workers using OEM parts.
