I bought iPhone 11 Pro yesterday but found that limited warranty expired. When checked using serial number, it says purchased in April 2020 yet the phone was sealed and sold as brand new. Is this something possible or the dealer faked me with a second hand iPhone by selling it as brand new?

Your sales receipt is needed for Apple’s Limited Warranty, AppleCare Protection Plan, and AppleCare+ validation, so be sure to keep it in a safe place. Apple’s Limited Warranty is the same whether or not you register.

The store you purchased it from is not an authorized Apple reseller. They purchased the phone from Apple or an authorized reseller and that was the date the warranty started.
You will need to take this issue up with the store you bought it from, Apple cannot help you in this situation.
You did not buy a “new” iPhone 11 Pro. The iPhone 11 Pro was discontinued in September of 2020. Almost 3 years ago…
Return it and get your money back.
