Left click on mouse won't work if i am pressing the control key on my keyboard

I cannot left click with my mouse if i am pressing the control key on my keyboard. I am not using a Mac mouse or a Mac keyboard but both my keyboard and my mouse work on another computer i have just fine. I have checked the shortcuts key combinations and none of them are using the control key so that isn't the reason. I can left click when pressing any other key on my keyboard but not the left control key. I would appreciate if anyone could give me the solution to this problem.

Check your keyboard Modifier Keys...

Apple > System Preferences > Keyboard > select the Keyboard tab > click the Modifier Keys... button.

If you select Restore Defaults the Control key should function as you describe.

If you want to change or disable that function click on the blue arrows next to Control and set it to No Action.

I found out that pressing the left control key on my keyboard and left clicking on my mouse at the same time activates a right click on mouse, which is why it won't work. But unfortunately I still haven't found a way to disable it, even third party applications like Karabiner don't have an option to disable control+left click= right click. If anyone finds a way to disable it somehow please let me know.

I don't think the exact brand of them matters, considering the same issue also occurs with the mac bluetooth keyboard and mac wired mighty mouse i also have. I'm pretty sure it's a computer problem like some shortcut it's activating that i can't find to change or turn off and not a keyboard/mouse brand problem considering the issue only occurs on the mac computer and not on my other Dell computer, fwiw, the keyboard I use is a Dell wireless usb receiver keyboard and the mouse is a Logitech wireless usb receiver. All my keys and mouse buttons work fine and I can click or hold any other key on the keyboard and left click at the same time and it will respond but the second I choose to hold down the control key my left click on mouse won't respond until i let go of the left control key.
