AirPods life

I’d received the AirPod as a gift about 18 months ago. It worked ok before. The battery could last more than few hours when it was fully charged. But now just last for about one hour. I realize no matter how I charge the AirPod it never reach 100%. I’d asked the apple store in Australia. They said that has two years warranty. Unfortunately my AirPod was bought from USA that they can do anything. Is it the AirPod just last for just short period. If so I will suggest people not to buy this product.

No, it depends on the usage patterns as to how quickly the battery loses reserve (it is a very small battery). I'm not sure about the warranty in Australia, it is only a one year warranty in the US. All Airpods are the same model worldwide but the issue may be a legal one regarding the warranty due to where they were purchased. You can get the batteries replaced for a fee.

I had been in the apple store in Australia. They said if I bought the AirPod in Australia they can fix it. Unfortunately my AirPod was bought from USA and I received as a gift, therefore they can do anything.
