Dim Display (Display working but not visible)

Hey there,

I have a MacBook Pro (Late 2013) A1502 model and it used to work perfectly fine but recently I have a trouble that whenever my Mac goes to sleep mode and after waking up the mac from sleep mode, the display is very very dim and is not nearly visible. The keyboard functions is working such as stop, play, next music. But the brightness command does not work. The screen is visible only in sunlight and even in sunlight it is dim (Dim enough so one can hardly see). Can anyone please help me with it?

The brightness controls no longer work until after you log into your laptop.

Try an SMC reset and PRAM reset (hold the PRAM reset for a full minute so it activates several times).

If these things don't help, then you have a hardware issue affecting the backlight which will need to be serviced.
