how can i delete multiple messeges

When I open the messages on my Mac Air, all the messages from my iPhone are there, even though they were deleted from the iPhone Can I delete messages from all of my devices at the same time? If I can't do that, is there a way to select several messages on my Mac for deletion instead of one at a time? I have found instructions to delete conversations but that is not what I need. Thanks.

Several 'cross-device capabilities' may be explored via Continuity in various channels, through site:

There may be a disparity across products with varying degree of age between their operating systems.

More manual configurations can be possible, where the product OS range 'gets borderline' to outdated.

A good deal of this can be made work with the cloud and handoff if not actual fully in Continuity.

{..I've three marginal associated products that kinda work; none are running latest iOS/macOS, etc..}
