Can no sync Apple Music

I recently got a MacBook Air and as I was setting it up. I was having trouble syncing my Apple Music to my laptop from my phone. I looked all over the web trying to find a solution but it seems to me like you need adapter to connect t to the Mac then connect the USB to my iPhone. Is there any other way I can sync it?

If you subscribe to Apple Music, simply turn on iCloud Music Library on the Mac to get the music there.
