how to get external mic to work on ipad 11

Using iPad 11 inch. Using an adapter two 3.5 jacks to one usb-c. I can hear Thur headset but it will not pickup either headset mic nor my rode shot gun mic?

iPad Pro, iOS 12

I have been using both these mics on my iPad 5th generation with no problems till I upgraded to this iPad.

OK, good to know. I would reach out to them however, since you can't seem to use this on your Pro 11. They are the most likely to know if you need something different for it to work on the new device. It could be the splitter you are using?

Did you check with the mic manufacturer to determine it is compatible with iPad?
