Can't pair my apple watch to my iphone

I went to the apple store as my watch and phone wouldn't pair after an update. They reset my watch and was able to pair them but I couldn't wait for the download to finish to we stopped it and I tried to continue it at home. Now the watch refuses to pair. Says won't pair, error and try again. It refuses to pair and I have reset the watch about a dozen times. I really don;t want to sit in the apple store again for 2 hours. Is there any easy fix to this?
