I have more apps than fit on the 15 pages available on my IPhone XS Max

Hello,

My problem is that I have more apps than fit on the 15 pages available on my IPhone XS Max. The apps are in the phone, but not visible. They can be run out of the search bar.

The latest iTunes app no longer has the apps tab so that the apps can’t be re-organized from within iTunes. Attempting to install an older version of Itunes fails with message that I already have the have the latest version. If Apple is not going to put the apps tab back, is there a third party app that lets you access and reposition non-visible apps, or a way to add more pages?

Thanks

way to add more pages?

No, but you can organize using folders.

If you just start moving apps into a folder, the ones that are hidden will start to appear as there is space. What I do is move lose apps into a folder called TBD. It's then very easy to move that folder from page to page and drop apps onto the page I want them on.

That install may be difficult, as well as the fact that older versions of iTunes will not support iPhones on newer versions of iOS. Depending on how many apps you have in excess of the 15 page limit, once you place some in folders to organization, you should see more of them appear at the end of the pages you currently have. Given the extensive number of apps that you have, folder organization would be the best way to access your apps.

Thanks, I’m aware that I can delete apps in settings. The other option I am thinking of is a fresh install of an older version of Itunes on another computer. Even though I rarely use many of apps, I would like to have them available if I ever do need them instead of having to reinstall them. IOS is behind the times compared to android OS in terms of app visibility, accessibility and maneuverability.

once I can access them, I can create a lot of folders to work within the IOS limitations.
