Volume randomly doesn’t work

Any solution to the volume randomly not working? Alarms don’t make any sound, phone calls don’t ring.

I obviously checked to see if it is silenced and it isn’t. Ringer and volume were turned all the way up. Bluetooth off. No sounds coming out.

Restarted my phone and it works fine now but it’s not worth more missed airplane flights to just hope it doesn’t happen again. Should I just stop trusting my iPhone? It’s 5 months old. Only apple product I own and it’s really not making me want to buy another.

Iphone X volume issue The volume on my I phone goes to low by itself, so when someone calls me I don't hear the ringer at all. I manually run the volume back up to high and it seems to go back to low all by itself. Very frustrating as I cannot find any reason for it to do this.
