Iphone X volume issue

The volume on my I phone goes to low by itself, so when someone calls me I don't hear the ringer at all. I manually run the volume back up to high and it seems to go back to low all by itself. Very frustrating as I cannot find any reason for it to do this.

iPhone volume settings randomly changing from Max to Low What would cause the volume setting on my phone to go from Max to Low on its own? Settings > Sounds > Change with Buttons [Disable]
