My Touch ID doesn’t work since the last software upgrade. I have deleted all fingerprints and re done them time and time again. It’s really frustrating as I have a couple of phones - for work and home - and my Touch ID doesn’t work on either phone no matter how many times I set them up. What is going on???

If the issue persists, it might be a hardware issue and you may have the check service options
If Touch ID is not working and you have tried the troubleshooting steps and it still is not working, that sounds like a hardware error and a software update is not going to correct that. I suggest you make a Genius Bar appointment at the nearest Apple Store and have the device examined by Apple. They will explain your options from there.
Thanks but I’ve tried all of the suggestions and I’m still having the same problem😕 I know from searching online that it’s a problem for many, many iPhone users at the moment. Just hoping that the next upgrade will fix it! Otherwise I’ll have to switch to Android 😬
