Two-sided printing not working in Pages.

Suddenly the two-sided printing option is grayed out when printing from Pages. I have no problem printing two-sided from MS Word. I went to System Prefs>Printers and Scanners and selected my printer. Under Options there is no option for duplex printing (my printer does have that capability). I tried deleting then re-adding the printer with no change. I tried resetting the printing system and again re-adding the printer with no luck. I never had this problem with Pages until just now, and as I said, the problem doesn't exist when printing from Word. Any advice would be appreciated.
