Can an series 4 watch with cellular be used on a different carrier than it was purchased from?

Bought from Tmobile and want to use it on ATT.

Switching carriers with Apple Watch 5 I am looking to switch from AT&T to T-Mobile. T-Mobile told me they didn't think it was possible to move my watch over from one carrier to another. Is this true or are they just trying to force me to buy a new watch?

Yes you need to make sure the Watch can works on that carrier you are wanting to move to.
