I erased all content and settings on my iphone 6 and now it wont take a charge.

The iphone was fully charged when I erased all content and settings and now its saying the battery is dead and wont take a charge. I was able get through all the setup screens before it crapped out. I've tried force resetting and using different charging cables but nothing is helping. The battery was completely fine before I erased all content and settings. Is the phone done for?

Hello,

It's probably just a charging issue. Check the charging port for lint or other debris.

I cleaned the charging port and i'm trying again. But it concerns me that the battery was fully charged before the erase, and now its saying its empty.
