Need a Firewire to Thunderbolt adaptor
Not sure which to get - I have a 2013 27" iMac with Thunderbolt 1. I'm seeing adaptors fro Thunderbolt 2 and 3. Will those work?
The device I'm trying to connect to has Firewire 800.

Thunderbolt 1 & 2 use the same connector.
I was hesitant to order one of these since I didn't see my iMac in the list of compatible models. Can I assume Thunderbolt 1 and 2 have the same kind of connector?
