Unable to switch payment method

My debit card is stolen hence I blocked it.. That card was configured as default payment method. As card is blocked.. Apple couldn’t process payment for a subscription.. Now neither Apple is allowing me to add a new payment method nor allowing to remove the current one.. which is no longer valid. Please help

According to: If you can't remove your last payment method or use no payment method with your Apple ID - Apple Support

"If you tried these steps and you still can’t remove your last payment method, or if you’re unable to remove a payment method, contact Apple Support."
