How many devices can homekit support?

I currently have around 50 devices in my HomeKit setup and I do not have nearly everything that I want yet in my current situation. I am moving soon to a house that is over double the size and I expect my needs to be well into the hundreds of devices. I've done a lot of searching and really have only found 1 seemingly authoritative answer, but it is a few years old. https://forums.developer.apple.com/thread/64682#186068

I think the 1000 device limit is fine, but I worry about the 1 MB CKRecord limit spoken of in the above thread. Has this been increased or the method changed so that this limit will not hinder the 1000 device limit?
