Using iPhone X Apple Pay without needing side button when side button is stuck

My side button is partially stuck now so I’m only able to press it sometimes. Lock screen and screenshot are available through assistive touch but for Apple Pay I would still need to double click to activate Face ID. Any idea how to get around Apple Pay without double clicking the side button?

On another note, what can I do to get my side button unstuck? I think I pressed to hard one day and it just never came fully out...
