EVERY TIME I start my car it starts playing and the picture shows up on the dashboard. The SOI tool referenced here does not do anything and is an endless loop of trying to log in.

Using that link it will allow you to remove the album from your account.
Did you try this. Launch the Music App. Find the U2 album with a search. Tap and Hold down it and then select Delete from Library.
Now that your other rant has been removed, I have to tell you that I agree with what you said. Apple has a ton of nuts when they insist on doing crap like that. They have absolutely no right to force junk on our devices that we don’t want.
Thanks for the tip, but I'd already seen that one. It is a deadloop of having you log in, find the link again, click remove, log in, find the link again, click remove, log in... well, you get the idea.
I've logged out, rebooted, tried it 10 times. It is probably an obsolete program or something, but it doesn't work any longer.
Completely agree. Plus it displays on the dashboard of your car. I could care less what they choose to do with their life -- but I don't need to hear it, see it, or agree with it.
