we have a new officer team for a thing at school. one person has an android and i’m not getting any of the messages. i have changed my settings, shut down my phone. this is important and it’s kinda stressful

First, go to Settings > Messages and turn on MMS Messaging if it’s not already. You’ll need this feature enabled for using group messaging with an Android device. If you don’t see an option to turn on MMS Messaging or Group Messaging, contact your carrier to see if your plan supports Group MMS Messaging. You can read more about this here:
Send a group message on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If you still have issues after that, go to Settings > General > Software Update and see if an update is available. If so, back up your device and get the update:
Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If those steps don’t resolve this, you’ll want to reach out to your carrier for further help. They’ll be able to look into why this feature isn’t working as expected with you.
