Unable to sign in with my updated/changed Apple ID

I recently updated my apple id.now my MacBook keeps asking me to sign in.everytime I sign in the system tells me to delete my internet account and that I'm already signed in. even after deleting all m internet accounts the system preferences still shows the sign in red about me signing in

If you have changed your ID or password, have you followed the steps in this article? Have you tried removing your ID from everywhere listed in the article below, then restarting the computer, and then sign back in?
