Scratch-Brand new Ipad 2018
I got an ipad from a local carrier here in Japan. However, after it has been set up, I wasn’t able to use it right away. When I finally got a time of taking it out of the box again and start using it, I noticed it has a scratch on the upper right hand corner. Apparently, carrier wouldn’t replace it and referred me to Apple. Apple refused to replace my iPad with a brand new one as they were referring to Apple terms and condition which “cosmetic damage” is not covered. They are willing to replace my device but with a remanufactured/refurbished one. I feel so betrayed because I expected a lot with the amount of money I’ve spent for this device. Should I take the refurbished device or should I keep this ipad that I have even with the scratch?
