Delete sparse bundle from Time Capsule

When I try to delete a sparse bundle backup for a Mac that I no longer have, I get the following error message - "The operation can’t be completed because the item “bands” is in use." Running Mojave 10.14.4

MacBook Pro 15", macOS 10.14

Selected 'Move to Trash' while holding down the Control key and it worked.

Since some time timemachine cannot make a backup on time capsule.
