Email Verification Page
I changed the rescue email address on my account. It all went through. I got an email at my new email address (the one I listed for rescue) telling me to enter a code in the email on the EMAIL VERIFICATION PAGE, so that I can make that new rescue email address operable. There is no link in the email to take me to the EMAIL VERIFICATION PAGE, so I logged into my account. Nothing on the profile page asking for a verification code. Then I typed "email verification page" into the search box, which took me to another person's exact same question, which was never answered. On top of that something like 275 people had clicked on "I have the same question."
Why is customer service getting so bad everywhere I turn? More and more tech companies are simply making themselves unavailable by phone. Yesterday I was trying to resolve a problem with a tech company and there was no phone support AT ALL, no email support AT ALL, and their chat service explicitly stated that the assistant was a bot!
