Magic mouse won't charge with anything other than the laptop USB port
This is really frustrating. My rechargeable magic mouse won't charge when it is plugged into any Apple USB adapter (10W, 12W) or USB-C 18W or USB-C 87W. It will ONLY charge if it is pulled into my 2018 MacBook Pro 15 USB-C port (using an Apple or OEM USB-to-USB-C converter. What is going on Apple? Why won't it charge with a wall outlet?
This is bad for me because it's my workstation. When I'm sitting at my desk, I need to use the mouse, which I cannot because it can't be used while charging. When I'm away from my desk, I need to be able to charge the mouse using a wall outlet.
I checked this with a colleague and he observed the same issue with his magic mouse, Apple adapters and 2018 MacBook Pro 15.
This seems like a pretty serious bug or design issue with the new magic mouse.
