iOS 12.3 upgrade corrupted my wallet

I live in China and had my metro card connected to Apple pay in my wallet. It worked great!

After I updated my iOS to 12.3 my metro card is gone from the wallet.

When I try to add it again I get the message "You have added the maximum of 12 cards for Apple Pay..."

I have only ever had this metro card added to Apple Pay - no other cards. When I go in to my wallet under settings there are also no cards visible i.e. I can't delete any cards and add again.

So I am stuck! Any suggestions how to solve this?

Hello Walletcards,

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities for help with Wallet on your device. I am happy to help.

Please try the troubleshooting in this help article: Get help adding Beijing and Shanghai transit cards to your iPhone or Apple Watch - Apple Support

Since you also mention that this is the only card added to your Wallet, you may want to remove all cards, then restart your device. Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Then, go ahead and try re-adding it. Add a Beijing or Shanghai transit card to Apple Pay - Apple Support

Thanks and have a wonderful day.
