I just updated my iMac to the latest update available.
Now, my mac will boot up to the login screen. I try to sign in but it will sit with the spinning circles forever.
When I try to use the internet recovery tool it comes up with the apple.com/support -3403D
I've tried using command+r and using one of the options from that menu but absolutely nothing will continue/verify/load
Help?

So, I actually left it to run for awhile (really couldn't say how long) just left it on login loading screen and I guess something finally happened and it ended up logging all the way in.
Everything is loading fine now! Thanks for your help!
So, I started my mac in safe mode (held down shift key).
I typed in my password to login and it is still attempting to load (approximately 10 minutes so far).
Try restarting in Safe Mode and see if that solves the issue. If it does not please let us know. Instructions for a Safe Mode restart are in https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262
What iMac is this and by chance are there any antivirus or cleaning apps installed?
