Adware removal

After updating Adobe, adware for virus removal was installed and I cannot seem to get rid of it. This involves 2 new icons on my dock, one called "tab Guides"and the other called "Mac Cleanup Pro". Both have annoying popups at all times with sound. I need to get rid of this before I go nuts. What's the solution? Trying to drag the icons into the trash does not work - they won't move.

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.14

Follow the advise of rcosta887 above.

hthttps://www.malwarebytes.com/mac/ is a trusted utility for removing adware/malware.

If in doubt, with an adobe update—always go to their website for the update; don't trust a random popup.

or

If it is the Flash app you can open >System Preferences>Flash and from here you can check for an update.
