iphone 6 no service and searching

I have iPhone 6 with iOS 12.3. For the past 2 days I’m having strange experience with my network. It says no service. 2 days before it says no service at some times and automatically connected to network later. Then again says no service and automatically connected again. This happened repeatedly.

But yesterday onwards it keeps displaying no service. More interestingly from today morning onwards, it keeps on searching and not even showing no service... it’s so strange experience.

Please don’t suggest any typical repair options like restart the phone, or remove Sim and insert again, or reset the network setting etc all... I have tried everything, it still not working...

I have removed my Sim (Airtel) and tried with another mobile( Lenovo). It works well and good. But on iPhone it’s not working. I even tried inserting my cousins Sim (Vodafone) and it also not working. It proves that there is no issues with carrier also...

some one please suggest me any possible ideas (my head is gonna blow away cause I have been using iPhone family for the past 12 years with not a single issue)

when I go to settings - mobile data - it is empty white screen with no options...

additional information, I updated to iOS 12.3 just 2 days before. Could it be a problem?

Good morning ashok ryan!

I see that you're having some trouble with your iPhone 6 consistently showing that there is no service. I'll be happy to help out.

Since you've tried most of the steps provided here, If you see No Service or Searching on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support, including trying another SIM from another provider, the issue may be with the iPhone. Have you also tried restoring the iPhone and setting it up as new? This will help determine if the issue is a software or hardware issue. If not, try that now. Make sure you have a good backup of your device: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. When you are ready to restore and set up the as new, please follow this article: Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings.

If you're still having the issue after restoring and setting up as new, I recommend having the iPhone diagnosed hands-on. Take a look here to find some nearby service locations: Apple - Find Locations. Here's some information about seeking service: iPhone Repair - Official Apple Support.

Have a great day.

Thanks Jeremy. I tried to restore my iPhone and it took some time to download and install restoring process. After restore process completed, my phone restarted and it prompted to select language, setup wifi settings, select your country or region, and then setup manually, then select keyboard. Until then it was fine and after keyboard selection when i clicked next it shows warning symbol with the message "Unable to Activate" an update is required to activate your iphone and shutdown button on bottom of screen.

Im struck and i can't use my iPhone further because i can't activate it. At the same time in iTunes a message displayed as "the iPhone could not be activated because the activation information could not be obtained from the device. disconnect your phone make the SIM card is inserted correctly". I tried to remove sim and inserted back but nothing helps..... the same error message follows... and unable to activate... Is there any solution to this....Please help me.

Thanks Jospeh for your help. Restoring the iphone was my last option left. Still I have doubt. From the link you sent for restoring, the procedure says I Must have a latest iTunes to follow the restoring process. Unfortunately my Mac is older (MacBook Pro 2011 early) and I'm Having High Sierra and this OS does not support latest version of iTunes. Shall I process to restore with that version itself I guess it is 12.8 version of itunes
