Different weather forecasts on identical phones?

My wife and I both have iPhone XSs on the same carrier (Verizon) with the same settings for wifi and cellular. However, when we look at the Weather app we often get different weather forecasts even when we are sitting side by side, looking at the same location. For example, today my phone showed rain but my wife's showed thunderstorms. My phone showed a current temperature of 56º but hers showed a temperature of 59º. All our settings seem to be identical so why the difference?

Weather App accuracy I have 2 iPhones with 2 separate phone lines. For some strange reason, the weather data on the "Weather" app is quite different between them. Like completely different rain forecasts, current weather conditions and even current temperature. Is not that critical, but I am curious about why it happens
