why does my ipad go da-ding ramdomly even when im not charging

It constantly makes noises when its not charging, help. Also nothing in settings makes this random noise

iPad continuously makes charging sound when plugged in Hi, my ipad all of a sudden keeps on making the charging sound even though it’s plugged in. Are you getting any alert when you hear the "da-ding?" Check notifications, by pulling down from the top of the iPad screen. Facebook messenger has it's own unique tone when a message is received as well.
