Apple News started crashing again this morning (5/19/19) on my iPad Pro 2018

Apple News started crashing within 20 seconds of opening starting on 5/19/19 around 8am EDT time using my iPad Pro 2018 12.9". I rebooted, closed the app, and still every time it opens it crashes within 20 seconds. I'm using IOS 12.3 (which until this morning seemed to have fixed the chronic crashing problem I experienced in IOS 12.2)

Note: I also have an iPad Air 2 which was upgraded to IOS 12.3 and Apple News seems to be working just fine -- so far it's not crashing. The crashing is only occurring on my iPad Pro 2018.

Anyone else having this problem?

TIA

I deleted the Apple News app and reinstalled it. The app was backed up to the cloud, so that when I reopened it all of my magazines and settings seemed to be intact. Yay! It’s now no longer crashing. Thanks for all of your help.

Yes, I powered the iPad down and restarted it bringing up the apple logo, etc.

And a bit more info -- I hadn't made any changes to the iPad since upgrading to 12.3 several days ago. The only changes I made came after the crashing started this morning -- I upgraded a few apps from the App store. Since that happened after the crashing, I suspect that wasn't the cause of the issue.
