I copy all my CDs to iTunes so I can listen to them on the Mac and iPhone. Some songs are greyed out on iTunes on the mac (see first image below) but will play on the mac. They won't sync to my iPhone - see second image below where only the 3 non-greyed songs sync

Select the tracks that are greyed out, right-click, and use Check Selection from the pop up menu. Use the songs view with check boxes enabled to see the issue more clearly.
