My iMessage will not activate, this includes facetime and iCloud issues.

I have been messing around with my settings, iCloud, passwords and even my hardware in order to figure out why I cannot allow my phone to access iMessage and Facetime. I want to add my apple ID as another option for contact but it will not allow it. My iMessage will not activate and I face many issues with this problem.
