Where is the clipboard located ?

Just select the place in the document you want it to go and hit command-v. (You can view the clipboard contents at Finder menu 'Edit'>'View clipboard' but you can't paste from there.)

the clipboard as in the part of your computers system memory which hold the data you copy paste ?
How do I get to the clipboard? I clicked on "save to cllickboard" on an item in the internet, so that is the copy part. Now I want to locate the clipboard to paste this on a document.
