Turn Off Automatic Drawing in Numbers in iOS

Solution to this problem is to change a Numbers setting in Settings.

Open iOS Settings
Scroll down left column to “Numbers”
Tap “Numbers”
Turn on “Select and Scroll with Apple Pencil”
Voila! Default drawing is turned off

How to stop Apple Pencil from drawing in Numbers I have been searching and trying to find the answer to this problem, but it seems the information is outdated as the iOS has been upgraded since it was last answered. I’d just like to use my Apple Pencil like a mouse, to resize, tick off, or move tables around instead of accidentally drawing all across my work. Apple pencil New IPad Pro Before last update I could set response for Apple Pencil only and not for fingers in Note. At the moment after last update I don’t see this option any more. I’m drawing with pencil and finger. I’m giving consultation form to my clients and this is very annoying and frustrating when they have to scroll down the page but instead they drawing with there’s fingers. How can I change this !!!!!! It was much better before. I know I can scroll with 2 fingers but this option is not functional

on iPad using Apple Pencil, want keyboard to enter text, but I get something different. Sometimes, when I am using the Apple Pencil on my iPad (iPadOS 17.1.1) and want to enter some text (e.g. a URL), I don't get the onscreen keyboard, but instead I get this: Two questions: (1) How do I get the onscreen keyboard when this floating window appears? (2) How do I turn off this feature so that I always get the onscreen keyboard for text entry? Thanks, Kurt
