Huge difference between an older iPad Pro and the new iPad Pro's with True Depth cameras. I wouldn't purchase any screen protector which, when installed covers the True Depth camera with the protector. Unfortunately, the Zagg screen protector does. And lot's of people return them because of this. By now, Zagg should have redesigned their protector to have a wider cutout which doesn't block the FaceID camera.

This is the Zagg and why it's flawed:

And here's the Brydge, which has a much wider opening, which won't block the True Depth camera:

The new Brydge for iPad Pro, comes with a back cover, which attaches via magnet and does not interfere with putting it in our taking it out of the keyboard.

This is the new Brydge for iPad Pro 11 and 12.9. The photo shows it closed with the magnetic back cover on:

And here it is fully open:

This is a common issue with the Zagg. I don't believe they've yet redesigned their screen protector to have a wider cutout for the camera and sensors.

It is recommended you delete your FaceID you registered before you put the protector on your iPad and then rescan your face. People have reported that works. Or you can return it and get a Brydge Screen Protector for iPad Pro 11. I just put them on both of our iPad's and they work flawlessly, don't inhibit touch and won't require you to rescan your face for FaceID to work. Less expensive than the Zagg too.

Anytime, my friend! Another reason I think the Brydge screen protector is better. You've been around enough to see people post about touch issues (finger or pencil) with screen protectors on their iPads. Many available, including I believe the Zagg are .33mm thick. The Brydge is .25mm thick. Size does matter and less is more. I can confirm that Brydge causes NO issues whatsoever with touch by finger or Apple Pencil.

I preordered the Brydge for iPad Pro 11 months ago. It's supposed to ship out this week sometime. I've been through so many Bluetooth keyboards since getting my Pro. None have met my needs. I'm super excited about the Brydge and can't wait. This is another reason I chose the Brydge Screen Protector. It has to be thin enough to fit in the keyboard hinges and Brydge guarantees their protector is the only one they know works because they designed it with their keyboard.

Your friendly Apple Store would be delighted to sell you a new iPad. You know you can use the Apple Trade Up program. And Brydge would be delighted to sell you a new keyboard as well!
