What does clicking ”save” on an audio file in iMessage do?

My friend sent me a song from his MacBook through iMessage, and on my iPhone when I hold down the file it gives an option to “save” it. Where the heck does it go?? I checked Voice Memos and Files, nothing.

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 12

  1. At the top of the Messages app screen, in the current conversation you are having, you will see the individual's name with a > beside it.
  2. Tap the person's name and then tap the "info" icon.
  3. You are now in the Details window of the conversation thread with this individual.
  4. You will see a tab for Images and a second tab for Attachments
  5. Tap Attachments
  6. Audio attachments will have a big blue play button and will show the duration and the date it was
